I've read captivating before. May have to dig out my copy again. I'll have to see if I can find Grace Walk, too.
Thank you for reminding me of God's love. Sometimes with all the heartache caused by man I forget that He is the only one who will never break my heart. |

Just as a quick update:
The past 2 months have been a roller coaster... I felt things were going well and discovered they weren't going quite as good as I had hoped. But, as a praise, God was working all the time. Tomorrow morning (Friday) at 9am we will have our first couples counseling session!  |

Father God,
I praise you and thank you for holding this marriage in your loving embrace. Continue to work in and through both of them as they meet with a counselor tomorrow. Give them your eyes and ears to see each other and to bless their marriage so that it may become the marriage that you have planed for them.

That happens sometimes - we think things are different than they are. The important part is to keep the faith and learn the lessons from that season. (Not at all in a punitive way - but that one realizes how things might be changed for future.)

Our session went really well! We both really liked our counselor. We have another appointment scheduled for 2 weeks from now. I am hopeful about our future. |
