Hello prayer warriors,
My brother went to see his doctor this morning due to a blue foot. He has several issues with spina bifida (a birth defect) and has had over 60 surgeries. The doctor took one look and had him sent to the ER. If they can not find the source of the blockage they will take his foot to save his life. He's an old pro at this stuff and is doing very well, but as his sister I am asking prayer in his honor. His name is John.
Thank you and blessings,
Inger

I saw this on FB.
Father God, I just ask You to touch John's foot. Also, I ask that You touch the minds of the doctors so that a diagnosis is immediate and accurate. Steady his mind. Reveal Yourself to him in a new way through this situation, Lord.

How is he doing? Such a scarey thing to have a foot turn blue!
Father God,
Guide and instruct the doctors and nurses as they examine and treat John so that he may be given the best of care.
Give John and his family your peace as they face this together.
I ask this in the name of Jesus
Amen

O come, let us sing to the Lord;
let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! |

I will keep John in my prayers. By His stripes we are healed. Sending love your way. Find comfort in knowing that we are praying on your family's behalf.

Thanks sisters.
Overnight they put him on blood thinners and his foot regained color. However, when he was put in a wheelchair to have a test done and brought back to his room the foot changed to the blue side again. He's not out of the woods yet, but there has been progress. I got to spend most of the afternoon into evening with him and he is doing well and in good spirits. His church family kept coming in all day long. He has such support in his life now. Thanks for all the prayers. Rejoicing in the love and support local and afar and above!!

Loved the photo on FB. What a great spirit.
Holding in prayer that the tests will reveal the problem and a good solution is easily implemented.

The doctors announced yesterday that he will not need surgery and they feel they can maintain blood flow to his foot with medication. They could not find any evidence of a blood clot within the system. SWWWW! We are all glad about that. Now they are going to check the theory and his reaction to this new med.
((HUGS)) and thanks,
Inger

YAY!!!
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18NIV |
